Velvet Night

My close friends know that my words to live by are, “When in doubt, the world is purple.” I'm always drawn to subjects that allow me to showcase purple because I think it’s a graceful transitional color that smooths the rough edges of life and bridges differences. This subject comes from a side street in midtown Manhattan, gazing into the over-the-top splendor of Times Square.
