Follitropin Alfa® 450IU Pen

Gonal-f 450 IU (Follitropin Alfa) Gonal-f is a fertility medication containing follitropin alfa, a recombinant form of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). It is designed to stimulate the ovaries to develop multiple follicles, which contain eggs, in women undergoing assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intrauterine insemination (IUI). The 450 IU dosage is typically prescribed for women who require a higher dose of ovarian stimulation due to factors such as diminished ovarian reserve or previous poor response to lower doses. Administration:Gonal-f is administered by subcutaneous injection, usually once daily, during the early phase of ovarian stimulation. The dose and duration are adjusted based on the patient’s response as monitored by a fertility specialist.
