It is a manual-wind watch powered by an original Hamilton mechanical movement, grade 982, model 1 and adjusted 3 positions. It features 19 jewels, a sub-second hand, a 45-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 18,000 vph. Proudly made in the U.S.A.   What makes this timepiece even more remarkable is its movement family, 980/982, which was designed for high-grade, small-scale production. Approximately 1,400,000 pieces of this movement family (across all models) were produced between 1934 and 1954, making it a prized collector's item.   The original champagne dial, which shows a touch of patina, features gold Arabic numerals, bold minute track, and matching gold hands.
