ETERNA-MATIC Watch Co. - "First gents automatic-family with ball-bearing rotor". Eterna-Matic movement, one of a number of innovations by Eterna, was developed in 1948 as an improved self-winding mechanism using five strategically placed ball bearings in order to reduce friction and resistance on the oscillating weight that wound the watch. It is a self-winding watch powered by an original Eterna-Matic movement, caliber Eterna 1414UD, adjusted two positions, 17 jewels, sweep second, 18,000 A/h, 48 hours power reserve, Swiss made. Cased in a 33mm round stainless-steel case and lugs. Original Eterna-Matic signed crown. Original silver dial (showing some age and patina) with silver Arabic Numerals, luminous dots, black minute/second track, and s
