The nose is nice and light. The palate takes a quick turn to rich and syrupy. Toasted vanilla bean and baked apples. There's a long finish of sweet oak and pepper. Tasting Notes: Nose: Hints of chocolate, vanilla, blackberry and raspberry, maple and oak provides for an enjoyable start to this bourbon. Palate: Rich notes of caramel, chocolate with spices and some sweet oak wood. Tasted with a dried cranberry brought out notes of vanilla. The pecan conveyed fruit and chocolate.
