Silver Glow Gaiwan

Origin: Jing De Zhen, China Material: ceramic  Technique: handmade Our absolute favorite Gaiwan! Functionally, it’s easy to hold and has a smooth pour; aesthetically, it is painted by mixing real 99 silver and has a subtle glow. It’s baked in kiln twice at temperature 820C/1508F. It has a rustic texture on the outside, but the inside is painted with cherry like red color. It comes in two different styles and it also comes as a set with a tea tray. This Gaiwan is made by a local artisan in Jing De Zhen, which is the cradle of pottery and ceramics in China.
