150 Grit Sanding Discs

Serious Grit 150 grit sanding discs are premium film-backed velcro discs designed to fit most 5" and 6" random orbital sanders with hook and loop backing pads. Our woodturning discs fit any 2" or 3" Velcro sanding pad.  This is a medium grit, used by woodworkers and DIYers for a variety of tasks. It is typically not used on its own, but rather as part of the grit progression from coarse to fine in preparation for applying finish. That said, it can be used as the first grit when sanding paint, drywall, or other relatively soft surfaces to get them ready for next steps. Serious Grit 150 grit discs use a premium heat treated zinc stearate coating to reduce clogging which helps tremendously when sanding soft woods or painted surfaces. What makes Serious Grit seriously good sandpaper? Lasts Longer - the heat treated aluminum oxide grain is self-sharpening so you get an even finish throughout the life of the disc.
