From the Curator: Paul was one of the first artists in a long time that when I got up close to his work, it was hard to leave his gallery. Looking at the same scene up close and standing a few steps back made such different impacts it really was captivating. Though, I’m adamant that every downtown office lobby should own one of his works, I’ve found it hard not to snap this one up for myself in particular. The colors and composition really remind me of home: stepping out at dusk to wonder through downtown.
