This bottle is delicious and one of my favorite barrel finishes on the market! This starts out with a nose that is full of candied orange and vanilla. The next thing that hits you is a balanced bourbon with notes of vanilla, oak and some spice along with some citrus from the cask finish. The finish is bursting with orange goodness and subtle heat which goes on for a while! This drinks like a old fashioned and will disappear fast once open! It’s that good. As one of my favorite releases from Penelope I am more than excited to have one of the last Valencia Single Barrels for a long while, if not forever!
