  Distilled: Washington State (Westland) Aged In: Washington State (Westland) Bottled In: Washington State (Westland) Age: 8 Years Madeira Cask Maturation More Info: No Coloring, No Filtering, No Additives, Barrel Strength, Single Barrel  ABV: 55.2 % ABV  T8KE's Tasting Notes: Rich on the nose - full of caramel, strawberry cream, decadent and nougat-y with caramel, light graham cracker and sweet oak notes among the fruit and the oak structure. Madeira has a nice pop of acidity with it to complement the malt character as well as the plentiful oak. The palate is rich and layered, chocolate covered strawberries, stewed fruits, sweet caramel apples and toffee, brittle candy and peppy oak all jump out of the glass. Long finish, decadent and viscous: black pepper, rich caramels, a hint of that strawberries and cream with blackberry from the Madeira brings great complexity and a complex finish.
