Cherry Giraffe

This beautiful giraffe is an original design carved by hand out of Cherry wood. Makes an excellent desk ornament, shelf decoration, or fidget (though consistent handling may require refinishing with clear polyurethane).  I am very proud of the pattern on this piece, even more than any giraffes I have carved before. I made the spots much more subtle, so you can actually see the woodgrain a little better. I love how the design works so well with a wood species with such a strong woodgrain pattern.
