1969 Studio Pottery Vase

A brown circular studio pottery vase dated 1969. Signed and dated to the underside, this vessel has a jagged rim and deep vertical gashes down the sides. A repeated horizontal rippling in the clay creates a contrasting striped pattern. Areas where the glaze has been applied thinly reveals the rich red undertone of the clay. An off-white splattered design is near the mouth of the vase.    Measurements: 7.25” x 5” x 7.25”. Condition notes: Minor wear.
