This durable design is constructed from locally sourced pine wood. Please note that these shelves DO NOT INCLUDE ANY MOUNTING BRACKETS OR HARDWARE. This is the perfect option for you to utilize that amazing Flea Market bracket find, or other fabulous brackets you've found on Etsy. All edges will be smooth finished, but some pine wood characteristics will still be present such as knots, uneven grain patterns, small cracks, etc. We personally believe that this adds character to the shelves, but understand it may not fit the aesthetic you're looking for.
