A pair of scrolls showing the fateful first meeting of  Minamoto no Yoshitsune and his soon-to-be retainer Benkei on Gojo bridge. These scrolls are a paired boxed set and both are the same size    "Painted by Kaho",  Seal: Kaho Kawkita Kaho (1875-1940)   Born in Kyoto  Kawakita Kaho was a pupil of Kon Bairei  (1844-1895) and later Kikuchi HObun (1862-1918).   He exhibited at the Bunten shows and won several prizes.  Ink on Paper | Silk Brocade border  Meiji Era (1868-1912) (Art) 42.5" x 7.5" (length, width)  each  (Mounting) 71" x 10" (length, width) each  SKU: S-1087
