A pair of scrolls showing the fateful first meeting of Minamoto no Yoshitsune and his soon-to-be retainer Benkei on Gojo bridge. These scrolls are a paired boxed set and both are the same size "Painted by Kaho", Seal: Kaho Kawkita Kaho (1875-1940) Born in Kyoto Kawakita Kaho was a pupil of Kon Bairei (1844-1895) and later Kikuchi HObun (1862-1918). He exhibited at the Bunten shows and won several prizes.
