Creating and Interpreting Functions (Algebra 1)

This lesson set provides the opportunity for students to create and interpret functions, rate of change, and average rate of change of the function.  Through engaging in this lesson set, students will:    create and interpret functions;   calculate and interpret rate of change and average rate of change; and   interpret the properties of functions graphed on the coordinate plane.   Standards: A.CED.A.2, A.REI.D.10, F.IF.B.4, F.IF.B.5, F.IF.B.6
