Product Sustainability Story Full Transparency From Conception to Closet The story of the 1992 Black Apple begins in Italy, where AppleSkin™, Virón’s leather alternative, is made from the residues of the food industry. The skins and seeds are recovered, dried, powdered, and sent to a factory where, mixed with Polyurethane, which acts as a base for adhesion, a light, breathable and resistant material is created. This technique allows the replacement of fossil-oil based synthetics with bio-based compounds. When sourcing materials, Virón always prioritizes low impact, constant
