Shungite Merkaba, 100mm, Hand Carved, Genuine Black Shungite What an extraordinary piece this is! This large shungite merkaba measures a full 4 inches in diameter (100mm), and is hand-carved from one solid piece of black shungite weighing about 3 pounds, 7 ounces. Each is slightly different due to shungite's natural mineral inclusions and veins! Being hand-carved and not machined, you will appreciate all the little variations and imperfections (see photos). Even little divots and grooves that look like they don't belong and probably (I'm guessing) reflect a change in angle by the carver. The imperfections and the sheer time it took to carve these makes them truly special! Each merkaba comes with a custom wood stand made especially for it by Mike Stark of Olympia, Washington, from reclaimed wood. What is a Merkaba? A merkaba (sometimes spelled "merkabah") is an eight-pointed three-dimensional star in sacred geometry. The merkaba is said to be the "divine light vehicle" used by ascende
