Sierra Sweets Chipotle Almond Crunch Toffee is a tasty infusion of Not Hot chipotle chillies, California almonds and Sierra Sweets Toffee finished with an artisan sea salt. A chipotle pepper is a dry, smoked jalapeno pepper. They are most commonly red jalapenos. They are added to our Sierra Sweets Chipotle Almond Crunch to instill a smoky flavor with a little kick. Most of the natural 'heat' of the jalapeno is diminished  when mixed with the 300 degree toffee producing a smokey sweet delicacy.
