If needed, cut and trim Silagen® so that itextends at least ½ inch (1 centimeter) beyond the area to be treated.• Wash and dry the area being treated every time you apply Silagen®.• Peel off the release liner and apply Silagen®, adhesive side down, directly onthe area being treated.• Make sure the scar site is free of creams, lotions, and ointments (includingSilagen® 100% Pure Silicone gel & Silagen® + SPF 30) as they will causeSilagen® to lose adhesiveness.• Although Silagen® is a self-adhesive product, if needed you may secure it byusing medical grade tape or any other preferred method.• Silagen® should be worn every day for 6 to 24 hours per day.
