Beautiful short jacket with opened trumpet sleeves is fun and luscious. The velvet is hand-dyed in a saffron yellow, painted with Persian floral motifs, griffins, and sun beams. The jacket is lined throughout in pink silk faille (lining is not hand-dyed). The sleeves are attached to the body with antique Venetian glass beads. Further decoration added with hand-dyed and knotted silk cording at the neck with antique Venetian glass in the millefiori style as closures.
