America the Beautiful

I have family that lives in northern Wisconsin in a town called Eagle River.  It’s so named because of the bald eagles who live and fish on the surrounding lakes.  They are such a majestic bird.  I’m thankful Ben Franklin was out-voted on what would be our national bird.  It just wouldn’t have the same feeling if he had his wish of a turkey to represent America!  I hope you enjoy making this quick and easy quilt as much as I did.
