4.5" Antique Tibetan Small Cymbals

Perhaps the most whimsical and magical instrument in the collection, these enigmatic cymbals have a unique charm. Their appearance, sound and the way they move are delightful. With complex harmonics creating a lot of shimmer, they produce a wide variety of sound effects and can be played in the manner of a shamanic instrument. Truly spiritual instruments, one is thicker than the other and the tones are different. They blend beautifully with a magical effect. The inscriptions are worn from the centuries and difficult to decipher. The few characters I can make out look Tibetan. The bronze is of extremely high quality and retains a golden glow. Truly a masterfully made marvel.
