Generous in size and style, this Louis XV armchair offers a high back and wide seat with original needlepoint upholstery depicting floral arrangements in pinks, blues, greens, and golds secured by nailhead trim. The luxurious walnut frame features voluted armrests, cabriole legs terminating in whorl feet, and an X stretcher centered with a carved rosette. The knees and base of the arm supports are carved with fanned leaves. The seat height is 17.75 inches.
