Scout Jacket - 17oz. Heavyweight Japanese Sashiko

A brand new jacket design in the most unique fabric we've ever released. For the Scout Jacket we wanted a functional modern design, heavily inspired by our favorite heritage workwear pieces. It's part Type III jacket, part chore coat, part entirely new design. Our favorite detail is the drop-in lower pockets integrated into the front seam line. No more only fitting half your hand in the front pockets; these pockets are huge! The intricately textured 17oz. sashiko fabric we used here is without a doubt the coolest fabric we've found. Heavyweight sashiko is hard to come by, and this fabric really pulls out all the stops. Made in Japan from 100% cotton, the fabric is made with four different colored yarns. A double ply fabric, the outside layer utilizes dark indigo yarns for the warp and a lighter indigo yarn for the weft.
