Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm).The Alessi Throw was designed by Micke Lindebergh, a Swedish illustrator and printmaker based in Sydney, whose signature style is built around an abstract and playful interpretation of flowers and organic forms, worked up with Posca pens, bright acrylics and riso inks.The Alessi Throw is a celebration of that approach - a dense, joyful mass of rounded botanical shapes in every colour, packed together with the kind of energy that makes it impossible to look at without feeling your mood lift. Read our interview with Micke here.Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Alessi Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.
