Papillons Mini Blanket

Size: 30" x 40" (76cm x 102cm). The Papillons Mini Blanket was designed by Amélie Lehoux, a Canadian artist based in Montréal, known for her playful use of shapes, colour, and texture across collage, traditional media, and digital techniques. Nature is a constant source of inspiration for Amélie - she's a regular at her local botanical gardens and finds herself drawn to flowers, critters, and the small details of the natural world. Butterflies in particular keep showing up in her work, drawn to what she sees as their connection to transformation and change. The design reflects that - bold blue stems and leaves climbing a cream background, with red blooms, yellow butterflies, and a pair of olive green caterpillars tucked into the composition as a quiet, playful detail.
