Petal Pop Mini Blanket

Size: 30" x 40" (76cm x 102cm). The Petal Pop Mini Blanket was designed by Micke Lindebergh, a Swedish illustrator and printmaker based in Sydney, known for his bright colours, bold shapes, and instinct-led approach to flowers and abstract forms. Micke works on gut feeling rather than a plan — and this design is a good example of that process in action. It went through loads of variations, cropping in and out, trying different colours, before landing on a single oversized bloom filling the frame in blush pink, burnt orange, and deep burgundy, with layer upon layer of rounded petals that give it a bold, graphic presence.
