Pollard Throw

Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm).Belinda Robbie is a French print-designer now based in south-east London-based known for her warm, earthy palettes and semi-abstract compositions. She works from a loft studio at the top of her Victorian semi, squeezing in late nights and weekend painting sessions around three kids under five. The Pollard design came together in stolen pockets of time - a few evenings of working through colour combinations, a couple of clear afternoons to get the final artwork down. What came out of it is a densely layered still life: rounded vases and vessel shapes in dusty teal, terracotta, and blush pink, all stacked and overlapping against a warm cream background.
