Toto Throw

Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm).The Toto Throw was designed by Oyow, an illustrator based in Seoul who works in Photoshop and stencil printing. Oyow is drawn to the theme of relationships - the emotional complexity of being close to someone. In the Toto Throw, everything is rendered in shades of blue with a deep cobalt background, softer mid-tone grass and a lighter sky at the horizon - which gives the whole scene a quiet, dreamlike quality. It could be evening. It could be the middle of the night. Either way, it feels like a moment worth holding onto.Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Toto Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.
