Yukimi Throw

Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm). The Yukimi Throw was designed by Eric Reh, a Berlin and Esslingen-based artist who works across wood, metal, paper, fabric, and clay, drawing inspiration from nature and the drawings of his young daughter. This design came from a year Eric spent living in the countryside outside Berlin with his family. Taking long walks, tending to his first garden since childhood, and watching his daughter discover her surroundings for the first time. All of that found its way onto the page. The result is a loose, open composition of round-leafed plants rendered in fine outline across a warm cream background, with delicate lines in teal, orange, blue, and green - and a tiny hand-drawn face tucked into the centre.
