Level up your chai by adding in some additional, loose leaf, assam black tea. While our masala blends already contain black tea powder, we found this addition is nice for those wanting a stronger tea flavor and/or an extra perk of caffeine. Adding this loose leaf assam black tea will require a final straining of the chai after boiling. One extra step, but 100% worth the time for the added tea flavor (in our opinion).
