Notes of sea salt air, ocean spray, and driftwood are combined to form Solid Soaps’ Alon soap. “Alon,” meaning "wave," captures life's rhythmic flow of ups and downs and reminds us that we are in a constant state of flow. "Alon" embodies Emlyn’s work as an artisan, shaping each bar of soap with patience and rhythm, an alon of intention. Inspiration for this soap comes from Emlyn's visit to the Philippines as a young child, memories of playing on a quiet beach, listening the crashing waves, then going back to her Lola’s house for meryenda where fresh buko pandan was waiting. Crafted by an Austin-based, woman-owned business, this soap celebrates sustainability, tradition, and artisanal craftsmanship. Alon Filipino-inspired soap is a limited edition for Solid Soaps' Heritage Collection. Proceeds from the soap help fund the final Austin edition of TAYO NA and seed the 2026 edition.
