COLD PROCESS SOAP MAKING WORKSHOP WITH EMLYN
During this 1.5 to 2 hour workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of cold process soap making with Emlyn, founder of Solid Soaps. All materials are provided to make your own customize soap. Each participant will make approximately one pound of soap in a loaf mold to take home. You will also receive a printed recipe and handout so you can confidently recreate the process on your own. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long sleeves. We will provide goggles, gloves, and an apron to borrow. This does involve the handling of sodium hydroxide (aka lye), so safety is very important for this type of soap making. This workshop is suitable for ages 13 and up with a parent or guardian present.
