Product Overview The Soundweb London BLU-160 offers a flexible configuration of I/O, customizable signal processing, and a robust, high-bandwidth digital audio bus. With an open architecture, the BLU-160 is fully configurable through HiQnet™ London Architect, boasting a wide range of processing and logic objects. The "drag and drop" configuration method simplifies the design environment, ensuring a user-friendly experience. Featuring a low-latency digital audio bus of 256 channels, using standard Category 5e cabling, the BLU-160 extends over distances of up to 100m between compatible devices. The flexibility extends further with the ability to use fiber optic media converters, expanding device distances to over 40km. Four card slots accommodate various device I/O configurations, each slot supporting any of six available I/O cards: Analog Input, Analog Output, Digital Input, Digital Output, AEC Input, and Telephone Hybrid Cards, each supporting four channels. Analog Input Cards offer software-configurable gain in 6dB steps up to +48dB per channel, along with software-selectable Phantom Power per channel. Digital Input and Output Cards process AES/EBU and/or S/PDIF audio, providing multiple clocking and syncing options (further details available in dedicated datasheets). Accessible without a PC, front panel LED indicators display Phantom Power, Sync, Signal Presence, and Clip information per channel.
