Make Your Own Stamp // Sat August 17th

Saturday August 17th @ 11 AM at the Friends Forever Studio (285 Rantoul St -- Pond St entrance) with Ashlee Beadle Join shop manager Ash (@ashbeadle) as she teaches you how to make your very own rubber stamp! This workshop is a beginners level block printing class where you'll design your own stamp, carve it, and then practice printing it on paper! This course will teach you how to use basic printmaking tools such as linoleum blocks, carving tools, brayers, and barens, and will focus on creating a one color image so that attendees can learn how to carve efficiently.  All materials and tools will be provided for you. Please come with a design in mind, or a small drawing to replicate on the block.* At the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to bring home their finished carved block and any images they print!  * You do not need to be an "artist" to attend this class.
