Camshaft Lamp - GM Based

This lamp is made from a used GM V8 camshaft (Corvette, Camaro, GTO, G8, Truck, etc) and harmonic balancer. It's fully TIG welded. It uses up to a 75w bulb, and turns on by means of a push-thru switch.The wire runs down the CENTER of the camshaft, you cannot see it, only at the base!Compared to other camshaft lamps- -I MIG or TIG weld the parts to assemble this lamp. I try to make it pretty. Bolting metal items together is not an option! Welding is an art in itself and it takes some time to TIG weld. -This uses ALL car parts. I do not like using a wooden base for my creations. -You think these parts will scratch your table? No worries, felt pads are installed for those concerned!-If the option is chosen, this camshaft will not be rusty or really used-looking. Paint & clear coat is standard.The lamp shade IS NOT INCLUDED! Standard "Uno-fitter" lamp shades from a retail store are recommended.
