Quince Paste (Membrillo)

Membrillo is the Spanish word for quince fruit; however, it is generally used interchangeably with the traditional fruit paste formally known as dulce de membrillo. Mitica membrillo is made with 100% Spanish fruit. To preserve its integrity, the producer adds only lemon and a touch of sugar while making the membrillo. It is not overly sweet and is an excellent cheese accompaniment or dessert.
