Art Deco Amethyst Charm Necklace

A gorgeous and dainty Art Deco gold charm, with a striking purple amethyst at its center. The architectural feel to this, with the curves and cutouts, is classic 1920's. We've placed the gold charm on a newer vintage gold filled chain. A lovely everyday necklace, particularly for the person with a February birthday. HISTORY: The charm is 1920's Art Deco, the chain is retro 1960's (new-old-stock, never used) MATERIALS: 14k gold and amethyst charm, 12k gold filled chain SIZE: The charm measures 1" north to south not counting the jump ring, by 7/16" at its widest width. The amethyst measures 3/8" by 3/16". The chain is 16". CONDITION: Beautiful vintage condition. The darker portion of the amethyst is likely due to glue under the stone and not an inclusion in the amethyst. We think it gives this piece a really neat look, however, we have lowered the price to reflect this conditional issue.
