Founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills, Kilchoman Distillery is Islay’s only independent, family-run distillery, located near Machir Bay on the island’s west coast. As Islay’s first new distillery in over 120 years, it produces around 480,000 liters of single malt Scotch whisky annually, known for its bold, peaty, and citrus-driven profile. Kilchoman is unique for its farm-to-bottle approach, growing 30% of its barley on-site at Rockside Farm and malting it using traditional floor malting.
