Produced in Japan by Warehouse & Co, John Gluckow garments are designed in collaboration with John Gluckow himself, a long time industry veteran and respected vintage collector. Each piece is functionally familiar but stylistically unique - not interested in simply replaying the hits, John finds weird, funky, and obscure styles that nobody else is making and rebuilds them to the highest quality. The 1904 Waist Overalls are a reproduction of Sweet Orr & Co.'s award-winning work trouser from the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri (also known as the Louisiana Purchase Exhibition). Much closer to the modern 5-pocket jean than its 3-pocket waist overall ancestors, the originals took home the prize for their exceptional durability and consciously designed details - from the slightly angled rear pockets to the extensive rivet reinforcements.
