Coupen Low Moc - Black CXL

The Coupen Mid Cut boot really pushes the limits of what might be considered a "boot" firmly wedged somewhere between a derby shoe & a chukka boot. Standing at 5" tall (including the heel), these are a great daily driver, comfortable and easy to wear, while still retaining the chunky construction and inherent durability of a much heavier shoe. The moc toe version is everything we love about the standard model, but with a moc-stitched toe. Perfect for slightly more outdoorsy styling. They're made from Horween black CXL, one of our very favorite tea-core leathers. Handsome and versatile from day one, it's an extremely dynamic leather, changing significantly over time with wear, with the black dye scuffing off to reveal the natural core beneath. The break-in is easy, with the thick-yet-plush leather quickly taking the shape of your foot and holding on comfortably.
