M-38 Khaki Shirt
During WWII, utility uniforms - for working around base and other non-combat uses - transitioned away from an all-denim outfit into herringbone twill pieces in various colors. This repro shirt features large utility pockets, and is made up from a custom heavy herringbone twill; finished with period-correct urea buttons. Cut with a full chest and relaxed fit through the body, the M-38 is long enough to wear tucked OR untucked. The custom 100% cotton HBT fabric breathes well, as expected for herringbone, and will soften a bit over time with wear and washing. Fits true to size. Some shrinkage expected with the first wash - wash cold, hang dry. 100% cotton Custom herringbone fabric Urea buttons Chainstitch run-off at the hem Twin chest pockets Relaxed fit True to size Custom labels Wash cold, hang dry Made in Japan MS17103 All measurements are in inches.
