One of the original Freenote pieces, their Utility Shirt has been a staple of their lineup from the very beginning. Even now, getting close to a decade later, it's virtually unchanged from the original pattern. If it ain't broke as they say... Cut with a roomy body, these are a relaxed work shirt with two oversized chest pockets for storage, and custom corozo "belt" buttons holding everything closed. It's got all the usual Freenote details, like 1/8" double needle stitching details, pointed pocket flaps, and custom woven labels. The Light Utility Shirts are made from an 8.5oz Japanese yarn-dyed sateen, finished with a stonewash and enzyme treatment to maximally soften and relax the fabric before you ever put it on. This two part stone+enzyme wash also patinas the fabric beautifully, fading areas around seams and emphasizing the subtle textural differences throughout the weave. Fits true to size for a relaxed, overshirt fit. Wash cold and hang dry. 100% cotton 8.5oz yarn-dyed sateen fr
