Wyatt Bootcut - 14oz Gunpowder Black Selvedge

The Wyatt is an extremely handsome old school Western bootcut jean, with relaxed straight legs, a comfortable high rise, and a casual flat front. It's a little more vintage-inspired than Indigofera's Hawk bootcut fit, a touch roomier and more emphasized all-around, but not so much as to make the silhouette too wide or sloppy - they still fit where they need to. Gunpowder is not just a cool name that Indigofera settled on for their black denim – it’s actually descriptive, as the dye used for the black warp/black weft fabric contains many of the same ingredients as actual gunpowder, helping to give the color both a deep blackness and a little sheen. Custom developed with and produced exclusively for Indigofera by Nihon Menpu Mills in Japan, this all-black denim will fade to gray over time, in the same way that indigo denim does but in grayscale, growing much softer with wear and washing.
