Astor, FL — Stockade Seelster p,2,1:49.3s; 3,1:48.4s ($1,279,127) has been retired and will stand in Ohio beginning in 2025. The million-dollar winner was the Dan Patch 2-year-old Pacing Colt of the Year in 2022 and holds the distinction of being a back-to-back O’Brien Award winner in Canada, being crowned both 2-year-old and 3-year-old Pacing Colt of the Year. As a freshman, the colt won eight of 11 starts, winning the Metro Pace and going undefeated in Ontario Sire Stakes action and winning the Super Final. Last year as a sophomore, he added wins in the Somebeachsomewhere, multiple Ontario Sire Stake Gold legs, the North America Cup consolation and the Progress Pace eliminination, as well as runner-up finishes in the Hempt and both the elimination and $600,000 final of the Breeders Crown (to Confederate).
