Casseroles and other serving pieces should be placed into a cold oven and cooked as directed. Do not put the hot casserole down on a wet surface, on the stove top burner, or under the broiler. Place a spoon into bowls or mugs when filling with boiling water. It is the sudden drastic change in temperature that sometimes causes damage that could be avoided.*This dish is dishwasher safe and can be warmed in the oven up to around 350 degrees. It is not designed for stovetop use. This d
