BERNIE DRESS / VIEW

WILL SHIP IN 3-4 WEEKS  As much as I wanted to create an entire collection to take on the trip, I also knew that we'd return home full of inspiration. I left the design of one piece – the Bernie Dress – as a post trip treat for myself, thinking I'd use landscape photos to create a print. I happily spent the majority of the trip glued to a window with my camera shooting the rapidly changing landscapes. I never would have imagined that the passing views out the train window would captivate me as much as they did, the wide open vistas mixed with the rocking of the train cars, was almost like a meditation.  I returned home with over 3,000 landscape photos, and narrowed them down to 6 to create this pattern. The colors are moody and grounded, and we can't get enough of them. From a distance the subject of the photos isn't recognizable - it looks like an incredible mosaic. Only up close can you see each image is really a landscape with sky, trees, clouds, and plains.  Our Bernie Dress is a
