When I was growing up in Umbria, my mother always had a jar of this in the pantry.We called it Sale di Noni (Noni was my mom's nickname).It's mix of sea salt and quintessential Tuscan/Mediterranean herbs.Use it to give an 'Italian touch' to roasted meats, cooked vegetables, and many other dishes. My sister and I also used it to make our favorite bruschetta: take a toasted slice of rustic bread, rub it with some garlic, a small trickle of Extra virgin Olive Oil, and finish it with the Sale di Noni.
