Beautiful 7"+ Polished Petrified Driftwood Specimen Fossil SEQUOIA GEM FLAME!!

This piece is definitely one of the most impressive of this particular variety that we've cut! The color and wood grain combine to look like flames in the best of these! It's an average sized specimen with very wide growth rings and the colors are absolutely gorgeous! The exterior texture on this one looks like you can still touch the wood that weathered on a beach millions of years ago! It's richer than the typical color of petrified wood in the Rodger's Mountain deposit, and it really is beautiful. I've always loved the herring bone pattern in these wonderful specimens but rarely see one with such nice growth structure so perfectly preserved. Having a nice piece of truly gemmy, mirror polished, petrified driftwood that is so readily identifiable and so distinct in appearance is a rare treat.
