Advanced Serger Sewing Class – In our Advanced Serger Sewing Class we teach you how to elevate your sewing projects with professional-looking finishes and unique details.   Some of the advanced techniques we will work on are: Seams and hems and when to use tapes. Specialty techniques such as: installing a zipper, piping, and heirloom sewing. Using specialty feet like a lace presser, cording, piping, and gathering presser feet. Basic overview of the coverstitch side. Go over a chainstitch, shadow work and other stitches that can be used as decorations (if available on your machine). This is a three hour class that includes a pattern or project component, where students can practice their new skills by sewing a simple item, such as a scarf, camisole or small bag.  Additional Information: We have various time slots that you can choose from for your convenience.
